Color Therapy – The Colors for Therapeutic Actions

Color therapy is a part of Vibrational Medicine. Color healing techniques uses the power of the mind and spirit to produce healing effects. Reflexology therapists and color-zone therapists channel different-colored energies into specific regions of the body. Everyone can use color therapy without being therapist by simple adding more these colors in your life.

The focused prana (life-force, chi, ki, qi, mana) is used to correct perceived energy disturbances in physical and  etheric bodies as well as in the auric fields. Chakras our energy system is the Wheel of Life.

This is based on Choa Kok Sui pranic healing method. The major pranic colors are red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet.

The colors for therapeutic actions:

Red – Root chakra

Actions: Stimulates the sensory system, liver stimulant, increases red-blood-cell production, stimulates sympathetic nervous system

Auric field: strong physical energy, passion, courage, anger

Complementary color: turquoise

Orange – Sacral chakra

Actions: stimulates regenration of lung tissue, stimulates respiratory system, inhibits parathyroid gland, antispasmodie, may decrease kidney stones and gallstones (in reflexology)

Auric field: color of vital energy, energy of health and vitality, imagination, purposeful spiritual direction, optimism

Complementary color:  blue

Yellow – Solar plexus chakra

Actions: stimulates higher intellectual functioning, stimulates nerve regeneration, activates motor nerves, stimulates lymphatic system, stimulates intestinal tract, cleanses and heals the skin

Auric field: Color of mind and intellect, clear thinking, ability to think on a philosophical level

Complementary color:  violet

Green – Heart chakra

Actions: equilibrates brain and physical body, disinfectant, antiseptic and germicidal, may help to treat heart disorders, may cleanse etheric body (reflexology), blanace body/mind/spirit, may relieve toxicity related to liver, kidney and colon dis-eases

Auric field: color of healing, color of growth (emotional, spiritual), color of harmony, inner tranquility, adaptability

Complementary color: magenta

Blue – Throat chakra

Actions:  relieves painful burns, relieves itching and skin irritation, calming influence, stimulates parasympathetic nervous system, releives inflammation

Auric field:  religious and devotional nature, objectivity, loyalty, confidence, indicates spiritual nature

Complementary color: orange

Indigo (blue + violet) – Third-eye chakra

Actions: stimulates parathyroid glands, may inhibit overactive thyroid gland, mild sedative qualities, may enhance white-blood-cell activity, may be helpful in closed head injuries, can reduce brain swelling, may stimulate pituitary gland, may relieve pain

Auric field: color of deep devotion, intuition, transcendent vision, purposefulness, spiritual will, seeking after truth

Complementary color: gold

Violet – Crown chakra

Actions:  stimulates spleen, decreases muscular activity, depresses heart action, may shink enlarged lymph nodes, may increase white-blood-cell production, may treat anxiety and depression

Auric field: color of spirituality, spiritual attainment (deep violet), wisdom of the higher self

Complementary color: yellow
